From October14th-25th, 1996, I toured the country to talk with people about my new book, The Connected Family. I gave interactive demos of many of the products and projects that are featured in the book, as well this web site.

For me, the best part was having a chance to meet and speak with people like you (after all, that's who the book and this web site were created for), and to find out what you are thinking about.

It was inspiring to hear about all of the things that people are already doing with their kids, and the ways in which computers are already changing the way we learn. I really learned a lot.
