Cybercritic

A cybercritic is someone who refuses to see the possible benefits of technology, and spends all his time tearing down existing tools, instead of looking at what they could be.

If a cybercritic had been at Kitty Hawk with the Wright brothers, he would have said "well, this flying machine is all very well, but it can only carry one man, and it only goes about 200-250 feet at a time. Aviation is a complete waste of time."

While an uncritical acceptance of everything new is not good either (see Cybertopian), it is important to recognize that the technology we have today is not the end-all of technical development.
